National Nursing Week 2026 with QRS: Learn, Connect, Empower

This National Nursing Week, QRS Educational Services is offering a lineup of free virtual sessions focused on nursing roles, cardiac education, workplace conversations, and the future of the profession.

From exploring diverse nursing pathways to strengthening cardiac confidence and engaging in meaningful discussion with nursing leaders, each session offers an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect.

Diversity in Nursing Roles

Join QRS President & Founder, Darlene Hutton, as she shares insights from over 40 years of experience across critical care, education, leadership, and entrepreneurship. This session will highlight diverse nursing roles including research, education, management, advanced practice, and non-traditional career paths.

Empowering Nurses: Celebrating Strength, Voice, and Influence (Nurse Panel Q&A)

Final Session of the April–May 2026 Virtual Open Mic Series

Aligned with this year’s National Nursing Week theme, “The Power of Nurses to Transform Health,” this Nurse Panel Q&A brings together nurses from across education, leadership, practice, advocacy, and holistic care to reflect on what it means to empower nurses and strengthen the profession together.

Featuring Darlene Hutton, Ramona Gheorghe, Preet Kaur, Kim English, and Kateryna Metersky, this session will offer diverse nursing perspectives through an open conversation focused on empowerment, leadership, advocacy, and the realities of nursing today.

Build Cardiac Rhythm & ECG Confidence with RIRI©

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EST

Join QRS President & Founder, Darlene Hutton, for a practical review of cardiac rhythm and ECG interpretation. This session will revisit key conduction concepts, interval assessment, Acute Coronary Syndromes, STEMI location recognition, and the RIRI© method to help learners build confidence when interpreting rhythm strips and 12-lead ECGs.

Cardiac Scenarios

Join QRS President & Founder, Darlene Hutton, for a free virtual session created for University of Manitoba nursing students, as well as anyone who missed our earlier session this week. Drawing from over 40 years of experience across critical care, education, leadership, and entrepreneurship, Darlene will explore the many paths a nursing career can take.
